Staff Appreciation Week

You’re invited to join the PTA as we say THANK YOU to the Veterans Elementary Staff during Teacher Appreciation Week May 7-11, 2012.  PTA will be providing refreshments and special treats to the staff throughout the week.  We will also hold a drawing each day for gift cards that have been donated by local businesses and individuals.  Please contact veteranspta1@gmail.com if you would like to donate a gift card to the school.  Families can also participate in Staff Appreciation week in other ways. 

Below are some ideas for making this week extra special for our teachers and staff.  Of course, participation is completely optional. 

Monday- Ask your child to make a thank you card or write a thank you note.

Tuesday- Bring a sweet treat or a gift card.

Wednesday- Bring a flower for your favorite teacher or staff member.

Thursday- Make a donation to the class supplies or class library.

Friday- Spirit Day!  Wear your teacher’s favorite color.

We hope you’ll join the PTA as we show our appreciation to the hard working and dedicated teachers and staff at Veterans Elementary School.
